Optional page-view analytics

Accept all cookies enables limited first-party page-view analytics on the homepage. We send only an approved page path and the site name, without query strings, referrers, form values, financial information, or custom user identifiers. The collector receives your connection IP address and browser information to calculate a daily fingerprint. Advertising and session replay stay disabled.

Accept all cookies permits these limited page views. Reject optional keeps analytics off. You can continue without making a choice.

Preference storage

When you choose, we save a versioned record in the first-party stormchart_cookie_consent_v2 cookie and stormchart.consent.v2 localStorage key. Both expire logically after 180 days; localStorage is ignored after expiry until replaced or cleared. The cookie uses Secure, SameSite=Lax, and Path=/.

Missing, invalid, conflicting, expired, or unavailable storage never enables tracking. If settings cannot be saved, the dialog explains this and may reappear. Closing the dialog does not save a choice.

Reopen and withdraw

The permanent Cookie settings link reopens the dialog. Reject optional or Withdraw consent saves a rejection, including after acceptance. Changes synchronize across tabs. Global Privacy Control overrides previous acceptance and keeps optional tracking denied.

Browser privacy signals

Global Privacy Control keeps optional analytics off. We do not interpret the older Do Not Track (DNT) signal as a separate consent choice; analytics still require your explicit acceptance. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.

Other requests

Delivering pages still requires technical requests to the hosting service; these settings do not control server-side operational logs. Links to other websites open those websites under their own privacy practices. This page does not embed their players or tracking scripts.
